Kelli formed KM Strategies in 2004. Kelli was born and raised in San Diego and lives in Point Loma with her husband Matt and 2 girls Emma and Elysa, and their dog Luca. Kelli initially began her fundraising career as an intern for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee while completing her degree from UCLA. From there she was recruited by Senator Tim Johnson’s re-election campaign to work in his Washington, DC fundraising office. After a successful campaign for Senator Johnson, Kelli moved back to San Diego and worked for Drew Consulting, a local fundraising firm. There, she managed fundraising for multiple campaigns, candidates, and initiatives. After leaving Drew Consulting, Kelli opened KM Strategies to handle multiple candidate campaigns and initiatives at the local, state, and federal levels. Kelli and KM Strategies have raised more than 30 million dollars and counting!
Alexis started at KM in January of 2020 and has since become an indispensable member of the KM team. Alexis completed her undergraduate work at California State University, Chico receiving degrees in both Political Science and Sociology with Honors. During her time at Chico Alexis interned for former Congresswoman Susan Davis, worked on battling food insecurity on college campuses, participated in the stop human trafficking organization, and pioneered a menstrual product distribution program on campus. She then continued on in academia at the University of Oxford, obtaining her Master's degree in Sociology with Merit. Alexis is passionate about equal access to education, LGBTQ+ and women's rights, and international law.
Daniel joined the KM team in 2020. He received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of San Diego in 2019, during which time he worked on campaigns for both State Senate and Congress. He served as an intern for Congressman Alan Lowenthal as well as in Washington D.C. in the Office of the House Parliamentarian. Daniel is passionate about social, economic, and environmental justice issues and providing candidates the tools they need to address them.
